Circle Bar Ranch was a challenge from the very start which entailed chemical grout injection and pond sealant to completely resolve all issues with this pond. The Taylor family called us in on this project after several attempts were made by other contractors to fix this very large concrete pond which failed almost immediately after construction. The walls on this concrete pond were around 12 feet tall with 2 ft thick concrete footers all the way around this pond and had a dirt and lime bottom. Soon after the structure was completed and started to fill, water almost immediately started flowing under the spillway wall which caused severe erosion and undermining of this wall. The spillway wall eventually broke free, toppled over backwards, basically erasing any hopes of this structure ever holding water and becoming a thing of beauty as it was designed to be.

After the wall was stood back up and effectively pinned back to the remaining structure Pro Pond Solutions was called in to assess and resolve these issues. Pro Pond Solutions thoroughly grout injected all the cracks and voids at each end of the spillway wall essentially bonding the wall back together thereby making the cracks watertight and then finished this part of the project up with an epoxy topcoat to further strengthen these areas. Next came the hard part. Pro Pond Solutions started drilling multiple holes through the spillway footer in order to start and finish the chemical grout injection process that would permanently block any water from traversing under this wall in the future while at the same time shoring this wall up so that it could never break loose and fall over again. The injection process took approximately 500 gallons of single component and double component (slab lifting grout) to completely fill all voids under this wall along with ensuring this wall could never topple over again. This phase of the operations was a complete success in resolving these issues.

Lastly, after filling the concrete pond structure to almost full capacity Pro Pond Solutions then, as a final step, broadcast and covered the entire bottom of this structure with our Pro Seal pond sealant formula to finish up the sealing of this structure. The entire project was a complete success and sits level full of water today! The Taylor family was very thankful and extremely impressed with the results and told me that “this was the first time since that pond was built that they had seen it full of water”.

We work hard on every job we do, try to get it right the first time, every single time and this is the type of feedback we like to hear. At Pro Pond Solutions we love happy customers!
